With the recent news and spate of events, I have begun to wonder when will we have some normalcy to our lives. Has mankind lost its favour in God’s eyes? I often think about this when I lie awake some nights wondering if there will ever be an end to this madness. For those of us who have parents, families, spouses, children and loved ones in other parts of the world, that we can’t travel to see, can’t hug or visit with – I know the feeling can bring on sadness, helplessness and sometimes distraught. But the comforting thought is that our loving Father is beside all of us every step of the way. He has us in the palm of his hands. He knows our every thought and will be there with us all until the end. I said a prayer for all of you today.

A weed to one maybe a beautiful flower to another. It seems to be a good contender to the showy Forsythia.
Matthew 13:37 - He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom.
Even the flimsiest of trees and plants can withstand a harsh winter. I have learnt a lot from them – that one can be battered and bruised in one season of your life and stand up strong and flourish in another season. While some die in winter, others are resistant and survive.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Every road leads to some place, a destination in life. It may not be the path you want to be on, but it is the road you were chosen to be on. You can either take a different route, stop to rest a while, or stay on the path and enjoy the scenery.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.
