The world right now…

With the recent news and spate of events, I have begun to wonder when will we have some normalcy to our lives. Has mankind lost its favour in God’s eyes? I often think about this when I lie awake some nights wondering if there will ever be an end to this madness. For those of us who have parents, families, spouses, children and loved ones in other parts of the world, that we can’t travel to see, can’t hug or visit with – I know the feeling can bring on sadness, helplessness and sometimes distraught. But the comforting thought is that our loving Father is beside all of us every step of the way. He has us in the palm of his hands. He knows our every thought and will be there with us all until the end. I said a prayer for all of you today.

Blank Canvass…

If you had an opportunity to begin life over, where would you start? Would you think differently, act differently, manage your relations a certain way, change your lifestyle or would you not change a thing? Something to ponder over.

Jeremiah 29:11 -
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Age isn’t just a number when u are 80 and 90…

Recently the men in our family celebrated their 80th and 90th birthdays. These men remind me of mighty trees that always stand a little taller or stretch themselves a little further than the others. In all these years they have accomplished much, living good lives, bringing immense blessings to their immediate and extended families. Our lives are so much fuller and richer because of them.

Ruth 4:15 - He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age.

As day breaks

His Mercies are new every morning…

I love the unfolding of a new day, the beginning of light, the quietness of an early morning, the twittering of awakening birds, the hum of traffic and my thoughts that flow naturally.

It is easy to see the work of the Lord at dawn, to hear his word and to listen to Him.

Lamentations 3:22-23
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
