Two are better than one…

To friends and family who lift each other up. Each of us is better for the other. We build each other up by praying, sharing how God touches our lives and encouraging one another. You just never know how your sharing or words can touch another person.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 - Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.

Reflections…

What does my reflection tell me about myself? Well, that’s for me to ponder over and it depends on the time of day. Our reflections do tell us though, that each of us are unique and special. I hope you find that about yourself when you next look at your reflection.

The Road to Emmaus…

My ‘Road to Emmaus’ journey started at birth, but has since led me on an ordinary journey with some extraordinary experiences. Along the way I have met some incredible people, some not so, learnt life’s lessons, given much, taken, shared, accomplished stuff that I am incredibly proud of, some not so and I still haven’t reached my destination. All the while the Lord walks alongside me, just as he does for each of you.

Favourites…

You all know the feeling that surfaces with seeing a perennial come back in Spring, especially if it is one that you favour or love the most. This year, to my surprise the Lily of the Valley showed its humble yet extravagantly beautiful and fragrant self. I am deeply appreciative that despite the grim circumstances around the world we can focus on the beauty of nature, even if for a short while. They are known to be aggressive spreaders and poisonous too, but they are certainly welcome in my garden.
